Princess on the Pedestal
~ Prologue ~

I wonder can you be jealous of yourself?
I am.
Well, I'm jealous of the girl everyone sees me as. The
beautiful princess, the loyal friend, the obedient
daughter&ldots;Everyone believes her smiles and draws reassurance by
her carefully thought out words. They care about her, they love her.
Doesn't that sound wonderful? It's lovely, really it is. Her friends
know everything about her, everything that she shows them that is.
She's placed high upon a pedestal. I wonder would it hurt to fall?
She's swaying in the wind now, ready to topple over.
No one is there to hold her up anymore.
She's falling now. Is anyone going to catch her?

A/N: I have no idea where I'm going with this&ldots;I
might make it the prologue for one of the fics I've had in mind for a
while. Can you guess who it is? I don't know what this will turn out
to be, I just felt like putting it up for the heck of it. Let's see
where it goes. ^^
