Suppi's News Corner #1

Suppi: Welcome. This is a place where you can gather 'extra' CCS news. First, let's go to Nakura with the latest on Tokyopop.

Nakura: Hi everyone! Tokyopop is currently working on Cardcaptor Sakura Master of the Cards volume 2.

Kero: (pops up) Hey everyone! In case you don't already know, Tokyopop is the company who publishes the English version of the Carcaptor Sakura graphic novels.

Nakura: (slaps Kero away) How annoying! Stay in your own station! I cover this! >_<

Kero: x_x

Nakura: Back to you Suppi.

Suppi: Okay... >_>;;; Well, now on to Tomoyo with the latest mini manga story!

Tomoyo: Thank you Suppi. The latest issue I am reviewing is the mini CCS comic #26. In this issue Sakura has to face the judge, Yueh. It looks like she's going to lose until Ms. Mizuki steps in. Ms. Mizuki informs everyone about the origins of her bell and Clow Reed. Yueh is defeated and Sakura becomes the Mistress of he Cards. Oh, how exciting! Sakura wears one of the cutest costumes in this issue! She looks gorgeous! Now, on to Kero with the latest rumours!

Kero: Thanks Tomoyo! Presently, there is a rumour going around that there is going to be nother season of CCS made. Is this true? I doubt! CCS has a nice ending, everything is explained. Continuing it may turn it into one of those boring series that never ends. I don't know for sure though, but I'm going to find out the truth! Back to you, Suppi!

Suppi: Okay, now onto Kari with shopping info!

Kari: Thanks, Suppi! Hello everyone! AnimeNation is up to the first Master of the Cards book. They also have quite a few CCS dvds. Amazon.com and Amazon.ca both have a number of CCS graphic novels and dvds. Comic Warehouse has a bunch of CCS dvds you can rent, as well as buy. So, find out which ones you like, and want to buy if not all of them. They are also up to book #1 of the Master of the Clow series. Back to you Suppiiiiiiiii!!!!! ^__^

Suppi: >_>; Alright. I am the sanest one on this news team... how disturbing. Well, today I'll be out on location on an interview with another CCS character.

Suppi: (outside floating beside a women.) I'm here with Makiko Midori, Sakura and group's old teacher.

Makiko: Hello everyone.

Suppi: Ms. Midori, what is your favorite, and least favorite food?

Makiko: My favorite is pickled vegetables and my least favorite is noodles.

Suppi: What is your favorite thing to do? And your hobbies?

Makiko: I love to clean! ^^ My hobby, though, is flower arranging.

Suppi: Cleaning...? -_- Last questions. What is your favorite color and flower?

Makiko: Umm... purple and Chinese Bellflower.

Suppi: Well, thank you for your time. That's the end of Suppi's News Corner. Goodbye everyone!

Suppi's News Corner #2

Suppi: Welcome to the second edition of Suppi's News! This week Kari is on vacation, so don't expect an appearance from her. Today we are doing a special on CLAMP. Nakura and I are on location interviewing various CLAMP characters.

Nakura: That's right! First we have the super-cute Hikaru from Magic Knight Rayearth! Hi Hikaru!

Hikaru: Hiya!

Suppi: Hikaru, why do you think Rayearth wa so popular?

Hikaru: Well, of course the art was nice, the plot was very interesting and fresh and all of the characters had very different, fun personalities. We also had an adorable mascot, Mokona!

Nakura: Oooo... your outfits are so cute! The manga was so popular an anime was made, which also drew a crowd! Tokyopop has published volumes. Hikaru, who is your favorite CLAMP character, not counting the people in Rayearth?

Suppi: Don't ask stupid question. And stop interrupting me! Now Hikaru, can you tell us a bit about Magic Knight Rayearth, like the plot?

Hikaru: Sure! As for my favorite CLAMP character it would have to be Sakura. She has such a bright personality and is so kind and positive. The plot of Rayearth.... well.... It begins with three girl, Umi, Fuu and me. We were mysteriously transported to another world while at Tokyo Tower. There, we were informed we were Magic knights and must defeat the evil Zagato and save the princess. We set out on an adventure to retrieve the three Ruin Gods. Along the way we made many friends, as well as some enemies. Oh, I almost forgot! We had our helpful, little sidekick Mokona to help us along the way as well as our magic. When we finally retrieved all of the Ruin Gods we set out to save the princess. Zagato was holding her captive, and we had to... defeat him in order to save her, or so we thought. At that point everything started to become clear.

Nakura: Oh! What an interesting story! ^^

Suppi: It certainly was. For more information on Magic Knight Rayearth go to www.tokyopo.com and-

Nakura: And be sure to check out all the manga and anime! It's a fantastic fantasy manga that takes Magical Girl shows to the next level!

Suppi: STOP interrupting! >_< Ugh... Now on to Kero with a mini interview with the cast of Clover.

Kero: Hey hey! No rumours today- instead I'm waiting for the cast of Clover to come out those doors. (Points to a door with a sign saying "Anime Convention") The fans are just swarming around. (Gets squished by two girls.) @_@ Wahhhh.... everything is spinning... Huh? Here they come! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! They're here! ^^ Sue over here! Kazuhiko, can I have your autograph?

Sue: Huh? I'm sorry... we have to go.

Kero: Sue, the star of Clover! It is a grim, shadowy story with an intriguing plot. Tokyopop has published of it in English! Sue? Kazuhiko? Huh? Where did you go? (car rushes away) No! WAIT! ;_; Please wait. I never go an autograph. Now on (sniff) to Tomoyo . (sniff)

Tomoyo: ^__^; Thanks Kero... I'm here with Kohaku from Wish and Miyuki from Miyuki-chan In Wonderland. Miyuki, I have never seen your anime... I wonder why my mom wont let me.

Miyuki: ^__^;;; Well... it's more for older people.

Tomoyo: Oh, I see. Can you tell us a bit about it?

Miyuki: Okay. It's a similar story to Alice in Wonderland, except more grown up. When I see a girl with bunny ears ride by on a skate board I follow her to another world. There, all female and more *bizarre* characters similar from the ones in Alice in Wonderland pop up. All seem to be kinda in love with me...

Tomoyo: How interesting. Kohaku, I've read your manga. It's quite charming. If I recall correctly Tokyopop is up to vloume 3 of 4. Can you tell us a bit about Wish?

Kohaku: Gladly. It's about an angel (me) who is trapped in a tree on Earth. A man comes along and saves me. I promise to grant him a wish, but he doesn't have one. I decide to stay with him until he comes up with one. More spiritual creatures (from both Heaven and Hell) make an appearance in this story. I don't mean to brag, but CLAMP does a beautiful job drawing this.

Tomoyo: Oh, I agree! I love the outfits in it! I should design an angel costume for Sakura! (eyes become all sparkly and she day dreams.) ^^

Miyuki: Ummmmm

Kohaku: Now, back to Suppi and Nakura. ^^

Suppi: Thank you... Kohaku. We're now here with a number of CLAMP characters. We have Chi from Chobits, Kotori and Kamui from X/1999.

Nakura: Chi- oh so cute! ^^

Suppi: You said that about everybody we've interviewed. -_- Chi, can you tell us a bit about chobits?

Chi: ^^ Course! It's about Hideki, a nineteen year old boy. He finds me in the garbage and brings me back to life. By the way, I'm a persocom... like a robot kinda. I'm different from other persocom because I can go past my programming... (emotionally.) I have a mysterious past that is uncovered through-out the story.

Nakura: For some reason, I prefer the art in this series then to other CLAMP works (though they're all very similar.) It's very beautiful... but then again so is all of CLAMP's work.

Suppi: X/1999 is a masterpiece! It's amazing not only art-wize but the plot and characters truly stick with you. Kamui, Kotori can you tell us a little bit about X?

Kamui: Kotori can. U_U

Kotori: Okay... Well, it stars Kamui, a young man who lost his mother a while back. He returns to his old town and my brother Fuuma and I notice he isn't like he use to be. More depressed... dark....

Kamui: >_> ...

Kotori: Soon, many magical creatures... errr.... people appear. Kamui is said to wield the "greatest power". Then the adventure begins. Kamui is on the good side, but his best friend Fumma is not. He has been brought to the evil side. And I'm in the middle. There is death, betrayal, friendship and more...

Nakura: It's so, so sad. (Just finished watching the movie). ;_; Waaaahhhhhh! (hugs Kotori)

Kotori: ^__^; Don't worry- I'm okay...

Nakura: Well.... at least.... the end of the world never looked so beautiful! ^^

Suppi: Thank you Kotori, and Kamui.

Kamui: >_<

Suppi: Good bye everyone, see you next time.

Nakura: Bye Bye!

Suppi: -_-

~next time~ I have we have a birthday special! All of the CCS b-days in October will be celebrated. Tomoyo will be reviewing vl. 27 and Kero has more rumours! Kari will still be on vacation. -_-

Suppi's News Corner #3

Suppi: Welcome to the third edition of Suppi's News! This week Kari is still on vacation. Today we are doing a birthday special. Nakura, Naoko and Sonomi are celebrating their birthdays this month! First here's Nakura with the news on Tokyopop.

Nakura: Yay! Happy birthday to me! I'm gonna convince Toya to take me out for dinner! ^^ Anyway, Tokyopop has published up to vl. 3 of the Clow Mistress series. This series is moving right along! Back to ya, Suppi!

Suppi: Thank you... Now to Tomoyo with the latest mini-manga review!

Tomoyo: Thank you very much Suppi. Today I am looking at volume 27! In this, a mysterious new transfer student appears at Tomoeda named Eriol. Sakura feels she has some kind of connection with Eriol which makes Li very jealous. ^^ The book end with Sakura, followed by Keroberos, Yueh and I, setting off to stop a mysterious rain that is only hitting Tomoeda! But all of the Clow Cards are captured... what could this be? Sakura wears he school uniform for the most of the time here. It is very cute, especially on her. Now, on to you, Kero!

Kero: Kero here with rumours! I e-mail Teletoon, a Canadian channel that showed Cardcaptors, and they said they will most likely be showing the dubbed Cardcaptors second movie. Now, it's not for sure, but if they do they will really confuse some Canadian fans who only know the "Card Captors" story. Since in the dub, Sakura and the brat's relationship isn't showed at all and the second movie is a continuation of the last episode after Li admits his feelings it can be confusing. CC fans will be like "What? Since when were they a couple?" I wonder how they're going to mask their relationship in this? Now back to Suppi!

Suppi: Yeah, thanks. -_- I am here with Sonomi, Naoko and... Nakura. It is their birthday month, so they're all getting interviewed at once. Sonomi, welcome. Many fans are wondering about your husband? Also, how does Tomoyo feel about you not being around too much?

Sonomi: Yes, my husband. I'ld prefer not to talk about it. As for Tomoyo, she knows I love her and doesn't seem to mind. I don't ignore her, and I do try to make time for her. Plus, she's usually busy with Sakura, videotaping or other activities.

Suppi: Oh, I see. Well, Naoko, why are you so interested in monster, ghosts and other scary creatures?

Naoko: I don't really know. The supernatural interest me, and I've always like to be scared and horror movies! I like to believe there is more then meets the eye... it's more interesting to believe anything is possible!

Suppi: Hmmm... we should bring to back for our Halloween edition. Now, Nakura, why are you interested in Toya, and what are your feelings for Yukito? Also, why did you choose to take the form of a women on Earth?

Nakura: Oh! I'm interesting in Toya cause he's so cute! Plus his attitude- calm and cool... I just like him! I find Yukito kind of annoying, a pest. I chose to take the form of a women because it's cuter! Anyway, I have no real gender... though some believe I'm a male! I have NO gender!!!

Suppi: Okay... jeeze... -_- Well that concludes the third edition. Bye for now.

~next time~ Next time is our Halloween special. Kari will back and Tomoyo will review vl. 29. Stay tooned! We'll also be making a big announcement!
