Suppi's New Corner #4 Suppi: Welcome. There has been a change of plans, due to lack of time the Halloween special will be canceled. This is the next issue of Suppi's News. Today we have a interview with Meiling Li as well as much new news. Kari has gone on strike... alone... and today we have Toya here in her place. Also, there will be some major changes going on here at SNC. I'll have that for at the end of the report. First, here is Nakura with the scoop on Tokyopop! Nakura: Hey hey! Currently, Tokyopop is up to book number 4 of the Clow Mistress series if I am not mistaken. They also have some art books and anime books on CCS done. I'll tell you more next time! Now on to Tomoyo! Tomoyo: Hello, and welcome. The next mini manga review is on vl. 29. In this volume Sakura is tired and stays home from school. Meanwhile Li is very worried about her, so I invite him to come with me to Sakura's after school. He act so funny when it comes to Sakura. They are such a beautiful couple. After school Kero-chan comes to the conclusion that Sakura is no longer drawing taking from Clow Reed, but herself. That is why she is so tired. Meanwhile, Eriol is planning something... Oh, Eriol-kun is so nice, but then why does he have such an evil look...?!? Now onto you Kero-chan! Kero: Thank ya, Tomoyo! I have sad news... my "reliable" spies have *NOT* found any current rumors! (cries) Sniff. Oh wait, there is one HORRIBLE rumor going around! Some people say that Spinner is COOLER then meeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! This is NOT, I repeat NOT true! I am soooooo way cooler! Suppi: You wish! Last week Sakura let it slip hat you sleep with a mini teddy bear! You name him K-chan! Not to mention that little bed wetting problem you have... Muhahahahahahahahaha!!!!! Kero: WHAT?!?!? That's NOT true! False! All lies! Why you little (attacks Suppi) ~Screen goes black~ Tomoyo: We are having som technical difficulties, please stand bu- oh my gosh! Kero! Stop biting Suppi's head! ~Minutes later~ Suppi: (with cast) Well, we're back. Now onto Toya, who is covering for Kari. Toya: Thank you! I'm very happy to be here. Instead of merchandise updates I will be in charge of the new section, Link of the Day. I will pick a random CC/CCS site and talk a little bit about it. Today's link is, Terri Terri Tori. This is a site dedicated to me. Sadly, not every site I pick will be about me, but this one is! It's a new site with lots of information. Check out my possible couples there. Now to you, Spinner. Nakura: Toya?!? No one told me he was coming! Kyaaaaa! (glomps Toya.) Toya: Ahhh!!! Jeez, get off of me, psycho! >_< Suppi: This is why we didn't tell you Nakura chu. Nakura: Did you just say "chu"? Kyaaaa! You are like Ran's little sister from Gals! or that cute, lil' alien from Di Gi Charat! So kawaiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!! ^^ Suppi: Ahhh.... no, no, no, no, nooooo! Hehe... now, I'm here with Meiling. Welcome. ... >_> !! Meiling: Hi! It's nice to be here! (imitating) Chu! Suppi: -_- Some people are wondering why you're so scary... (that's why we originally booked her for the Halloween special..) Meiling: I don't mean to be. I'm just forward, open and honest! Suppi: Not to mention loud. Though, you are determined. How did you take the whole Li and Sakura thing? ~Toya's ear pricks up!~ Meiling: It was hard at first, but I knew they really were meant to be, and Li loved her. I know I'll find someone else. Suppi: Great... Now for the big news. We will be changing the show to a better edition. It will be re-named Sakura Ribbon Network. Also, there will be new staff members, and more organized. But don't worry, we're not going away. It will just be changed to the new and improved edition, Sakura Ribbons Network. More to come on this new edition later! Now on to Nakura with Tokyopop news! Nakura: Thankies, Suppi! Tokyopop is still on book number 4 of the Clow Mistress series. They also have 3 art books out. Also, they have 10 anime books out. They seem to be picking up the pace with getting new series... They have Gatekeepers, RAVE, INVU, Digimon and those are only a few of the new manga. Marmalade Boy should be coming out on dvd soon, but they already have REIGN out. I hope they get some more shoujo stories! ^__^ Now over to Tomoyo. Tomoyo: Today we will take a brake from reviewing the mini books and start reviewing the big, full manga. I hope I don't confuse or disappoint anyone. ^__^; Let's start with the first book. Sakura Kinomoto is a normal, young girl. One day she stumbles upon a book containing magical forces called Clow Cards. That is when it all begins. Soon Sakura finds herself capturing cards in secret, just like a super hero! But Sakura-chan has the great Keroberos to help her as well as me, Sakura's best friend. Sakura must capture all of the cards or something terrible will happen! Sakura will try her best to capture all of the cards and look very kawaii while doing it. Now over to Kero! Kero: Hey ho! It's meeeeeee! Instead of doing my normal rumor column, I have been asked to talk to you about Sakura Ribbon Network. Suppi: (pops up) Actually he forgot to do his research, and didn't have any rumor prepared so we had to give him this to talk about. -__- Kero: Hehe. Well, anyway, Sakura Ribbon Network will be bigger and better then SNC. Plus, I think the name is much better. Though, I don't see why they turned down my idea of calling it Kero's News Corner... The staff will stay the same, though; there is no word on Kari's circumstances yet. Though, someone might be leaving to start their own show! There are currently try-outs for a new show. And you're the judge. Go and vote on the index page! In our next episode we will have a visit from none other then Sakura-chan herself! That's right! So be sure to stay tuned! Suppi: Great. Now onto Toya with the next Link of the Day! Huh? (Nakura is running towards Toya.) Stop her, security! (Guards restrain her while she kicks and screams.) Toya: -_-;;; Thank you Suppi... and security. The Link of the Day is Avalon Heaven. It has a nice layout, bios, card info and lots of graphics. There are free layouts, buttons and banners. Check it out, you won't be sorry! Suppi: Now we have an interview with Miss Kaho Mizuki. Kaho: Thank you, Suppi. Suppi: We all know you went out with Toya. Why did you break up? Would you ever get back together with him again? Oh, and how was dating each other, did you get along? Kaho: Lots of questions. ^__^; We broke up because I had to go over seas. Toya and I couldn't make a long distance relationship work, and we both knew that. Would I get back together with him? Well... he and Yuki are in love and I don't think we were meant to be. I do love him, though. If the circumstances were different, yes I would get back together with him. Yes, we got along while dating. I think we were a great couple. Toya: (blush) (smile) (blush) Suppi: What about Eriol? Do you love him? Kaho: Ah, Eriol. We did have a relationship (as shown at the end). Besides the age difference we look cute together, no? Suppi: -_-; Yeah, sure. Can you tell us about yourself? Kaho: Sure, Sup-sup. Suppi: ??? (twitch) >_< These people have the weirdest names for me... Kaho: I dated Toya for a long time when Sakura was little. I then moved over seas. Though, I returned sometime later after Sakura-chan had opened the Clow Book. I may have acted all mysterious, but I helped Sakura along her journey. Li didn't trust me at all. (Laughs.) I had a magical bell that was left at the shrine for me by Clow Reed long ago. What else... My birthday is February 11 and I like alcohol. ^__^ Suppi: -_-; Okay... Thanks for your time. This episode is special in more ways then one! I would like to say goodbye to Kero, this will be their last day here. Kero will be co-starring in his own show with the one and only Sakura Kinomoto! Our interview with Sakura will be later, so stay tuned. I would also like to welcome back Kari, who will be starting a new section. But don't worry, Toya now has a permanent place here at, SRN.
Nakura: Thanks Suppi! Tokyopop's status has improved! They have finished translating up to volume 5 of the Clow Mistress series. Though, volume 5 wont be out in stores until June 10th. They also have some MORE new series starting. Lots of which are CLAMP series, including CLAMP School Detectives and Man of Many Faces. ^o^ Now over to Kari-chan!
Kari: Hello, long time no see! I'm glad to be back. As Suppi mentioned earlier I will be starting a new section, the 'Look Alike Section'. I will compare the looks of other anime or manga characters to the ones from CCS. My first comparison is between Tomoyo and Angelic Layer's Hatoko Kobayashi. Another look alike is Shouko, also from Angelic Layer, and Nakura. It isn't that surprising that some of the Angelic Layer characters are similar to the ones from CCS since they were both series created by CLAMP. (Sorry only pics of Hatoko were found. Thanks to Misty's Anime Pics for this Hatoko pic!)
Tomoyo: Today, I will be reviewing the second Cardcaptor Sakura manga. In this thrilling volume Li makes his first appearance! Oh, how exciting. Of course, some more Clow Cards are captured and some more costumes were modeled. Now, over to Toya.

Kero: I'm sad to say that this will be my last day here. I'm going to be working on another show, which you will find out more about later. Today, instead of talking about rumors I will be interviewing Sakura-chan with Suppi.
Suppi: Now, please welcome Sakura Kinomoto, star of Cardcaptor Sakura, to the show!
Sakura: Why, thank you Suppi. It's great to be here!
Suppi: We're glad you could finally be here. Now Kero and I will be asking you some questions. First, I was wondering if you could tell us a little bit about your new show?
Sakura: Of course. It's kinda like "Dinner and a Movie", know that show? I will be cooking and Kero will be reviewing an anime.
Kero: Yeah, and it will be sooo cool! ^________^
Suppi: Next... question... Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Sakura: Of course. Well... I was 10 when I started the series. I have an older brother named Toya (waves)
Toya: -_- monster....
Sakura: >_> Who isn't always all that nice. And my dad is great. My mother passed away when I was little, but there's lots of pictures of her, so I will never forget her. My very best friend is Tomoyo, and Li is.....
Kero: The brat is her boyfriend.
Sakura: -_- Yeah. Umm... I'm pretty athletic and can be clumsy at times.
Kero: You got that right. -.- The next question is do you hold a grudge against anyone... for anything... ever?
Sakura: Hoe? ^_^; I don't usually hold grudges because everyone is always so nice. All people... and creatures have good in them. Even if people are sometimes annoying *cough* Meilin *cough* they don't deserve to be hated or anything.
Kero: Our last question is about the ending of the Cardcaptor Sakura anime and manga. We all know you had a crush on Yukito and ended up with Li, but what about Eriol?
Suppi: That's not one of the questions! >_<
Kero: Whatever. The people want to know! Freedom of the press!
Sakura: Hehe. I really don't know what you mean Kero.
Suppi: Of course not. -_- (With her you just gotta say it clearly.) Did you ever have a crush on Eriol as well?
Sakura: Ohhhh. No! ^^;;;; Of co-ourse not.... I was just his friend, and he was always very kind. But he's with Ms. Mizuki... I thought... or something... @_@
